The calculator waits for the active production pricing source instead of using duplicated pricing constants.
Important: This is an illustrative estimate, not a quote or savings guarantee. Actual hiring costs vary based on role, seniority, benefits, geography, taxes, recruiting approach, and engagement structure.
Transparent methodology
The calculator starts with your expected U.S. salary and adds the employer-overhead percentage you choose. Overhead can represent payroll taxes, benefits, insurance, and other employer costs above salary. Recruiting cost is optional and shown separately when included.
For convenience, supported roles include an editable national planning reference from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. It is not presented as a company-, city-, or seniority-specific salary forecast; replace it with the salary you actually expect to pay.
Part-time is compared at approximately 20 hours per week and full-time at approximately 40 hours per week. Starter hour bundles remain distinct from normal part-time and full-time annual hiring.
There is no responsible single answer. Savings depend on role, seniority, hours, benefits, recruiting approach, engagement model, and the U.S. cost a company actually faces. The calculator keeps those assumptions visible and editable instead of optimizing defaults for the largest headline number.
