A transparent hiring path

How hiring through Outland.Work works

Choose a direct marketplace path or ask for managed support. In both cases, the goal is a clear role, informed interviews, and an onboarding plan grounded in the actual work.

  1. 1

    Define the role

Document the responsibilities, tools, weekly coverage, experience requirements, access boundaries, and the outcomes the professional will own.

  2. 2

    Choose direct or managed support

Browse talent through the client marketplace when your team can run selection, or book a consultation when you want help refining the role and coordinating the process.

  3. 3

    Review relevant fit

Compare role experience, work examples where appropriate, communication, schedule, tool familiarity, and practical scenarios. A profile is a starting point, not a substitute for an interview.

  4. 4

    Interview and decide

The client interviews candidates and decides who fits. Use the same structured questions and role-relevant criteria for each finalist.

  5. 5

    Agree the engagement

Confirm scope, plan or commercial terms, start date, communication cadence, permissions, and escalation routes before work begins.

  6. 6

    Onboard and review

Start with documented workflows, clear owners, and an early check-in. Managed engagements can include additional coordination based on the agreed scope.
